China, India, Which is the better long-term investment for private equity firms?

Over the last years, many claim that China and India will have the most relevant economies in the world and this invites debate over which offers the better climate for investment. What's your choice and why? will they overcome their political, economical, social and technological barriers?

5) Firstly,on which im investing in.For different sector,different market are civilized and well organized.Sometimes depending on the market size,reputation and specification any subcontinent country may be best for investment.

6) It actually depends on what sector you will be investing in.
for example:-
If you are considering IT, Health care, Finance etc. India has been proven in that.
If you considering low-cost manufacturing, Solar Energy, Materials. China is better.

P.S: I'm from India and was in US for few years..actively investing in NASDAQ/NYSE/AMEX.

7)It certainly depends on the industry/sector/domain of investment, but I would argue that China is better long term investment for most type of investments, particularly solar energy, manufacturing, technology, infrastructure.
As a full disclosure, I am not from either one of these countries, and actively invest in BRIC and other emerging countries.
